How long have you been in business?

The Alternative has been in operation for 21 years and represents over 10,000 clients in the Greater Toronto area and neighbouring cities throughout southern Ontario - from Barrie to St.Catherines and from Kitchener-Waterloo to Oshawa.

Who are your clients?

Our clients are mostly professionals, 90% are College graduates, 60% have advanced degrees. They have busy, productive, fulfilling lives. They are accomplished, special people who are committed to finding someone.

We are currently working for clients aged 25 to 75. Most of our clients are between 30 and 55. Our current client base is 60% female, 40% male.

How do you find your clients?

We advertise in publications that best reach our targeted audience and through client referrals.

How do you match your clients?

We match our clients based on the physical and intellectual criteria that they have set forth.

What is your fee structure?

Our fee ranges from $300 to $5,000 depending on the type of membership that is chosen.

There are Five types to choose from:

1. $300 for our 3 Month Basic Membership.

2. $400 for our 6 Month Silver Membership.

3. $600 for our One Year Gold Membership.

4. $1,000 for our Two Year Platinum Membership, which comes with an unlimited number of introductions.

5. $5000 for our VIP, personal executive search.

Payment is due in full at the beginning of the contract. We accept cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Debit card.
